How to get the most from these tools
- Start with the testing plan builder if you are new to testing.
- Use the medication checklist before any test.
- Use the estimator and EtG explainer to understand results, not to predict them.
- Call us with what you learned. A monitoring coordinator will help you decide next steps.
What these tools are, and are not
These tools explain published research and how our services work. They are not medical advice, they cannot predict a test result, and they do not replace a conversation with a clinician. Detection times in particular are estimates only: SAMHSA calls them very broad and dependent on many factors (SAMHSA TAP 32).
Want to know more first? Read how monitoring works, compare our test types, or see our testing and monitoring services. If someone is in danger, call 911. For a mental health or suicide crisis, call or text 988.
Common questions
Are these tools free?
Yes. All five tools are free to use with no sign up.
Do the tools store or send my information?
No. Each tool runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is saved or sent to us or anyone else.

Where do the numbers in the tools come from?
From published sources such as SAMHSA, NIDA, Mayo Clinic Laboratories, peer reviewed journals and the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. Each tool links to the source behind every figure.
