Drug and alcohol testing across the Westside
In short
Blackburn Monitoring serves Mar Vista, Venice, Culver City, Santa Monica and the rest of the Westside from our office at 12326 Venice Blvd. Testing is by appointment, with other Blackburn locations for off hours and mobile testing at home or work for an additional fee.
We are a Westside service. Our office is in Mar Vista, which puts most of the coastal and central Westside within a short drive, and we can come to you when the drive does not make sense. Each neighborhood page below covers how to reach us, how long it usually takes, and when mobile testing is the better choice.

Same service, wherever you start
Whether you live in Venice or El Segundo, the plan works the same way. A monitoring coordinator sets it up with you in one conversation: what you need to know, which tests answer it, how often to test and who should see results. If you are on a random program, you get an electronic notice when it is time to test. Results are shared quickly, and only with people you authorize in writing.
- Tests: 12 panel urine, EtG, breathalyzer, and saliva on request.
- Partner laboratory confirmation for positives that will be acted on.
- Chain of custody documentation when a court, attorney or program needs it.
- Low cost. Your total depends on the tests, how often you test, mobile visits, and whether lab confirmation or written reports are needed.
Picking the most practical option
For neighborhoods within a few miles, like Mar Vista, Palms, Venice, Marina del Rey and Playa Vista, most people come to the office. The drive is short and office testing keeps costs lowest. From farther areas such as Pacific Palisades, Beverly Hills or El Segundo, the round trip can take a big piece of the day. Random testing works best when reporting is easy, so for those areas many people mix office visits with mobile testing. If you are not sure, call and we will help you weigh it.
Cities across Los Angeles County
Each city page covers the drive to our Venice Blvd office, local courts and schools, and whether mobile testing may be available where you are.

Not on this list?
These pages cover the areas we see most often, not the only places we serve. If you live elsewhere in Los Angeles and can reach Venice Blvd, or want to ask about mobile testing where you are, call us. If you need testing outside our area, we will tell you so honestly.

Common questions
Do you only serve the Westside?
We focus on the Westside, but anyone who can reach our Venice Blvd office is welcome. Ask about mobile testing if you are farther away.
Is mobile testing available everywhere on this list?
Mobile testing at home or work is available for an additional fee. Call to confirm availability for your address and schedule.
Which areas are closest to your office?
Mar Vista is home. Palms, Venice, Marina del Rey and Playa Vista are each roughly 2 to 3 miles away by road.
Does it cost more to test if I live farther away?
Where you live does not change what an office test involves. Mobile testing adds a fee, which is one of the things that affects your total.
