Why appointments only

Scheduling every test means someone is ready for you when you arrive, your plan’s paperwork is in order, and private conversations stay private. Getting here

By car

From the 405, take the Venice Blvd exit and head west into Mar Vista. From the coast, Venice Blvd runs straight east from Venice to our block. Centinela Ave and Lincoln Blvd are the main north and south connectors for people coming from Santa Monica, Playa Vista or Marina del Rey. Ask about parking when you book, and we will tell you what to expect.

By public transit

Metro bus line 33 runs along Venice Blvd through Mar Vista. If you are coming by Metro rail, the E Line’s Culver City station sits on Venice Blvd, and buses run west along Venice Blvd from there. Routes and schedules change, so check Metro’s trip planner before you leave.

By bike or on foot

Many Mar Vista neighbors walk or bike. Venice Blvd is a major street, so plan a route that feels safe to you.

What to bring

  1. A photo ID. Bring it to every test.
  2. A list of your medications. Prescriptions and some everyday products can affect results, so we note them before testing.
  3. Any paperwork that sets rules for your testing, such as a court order, an attorney’s letter, an employer agreement or a treatment plan.
  4. A few minutes of buffer. If you are taking a breath or saliva test, avoid eating, drinking, smoking or mouthwash for a short time before your appointment.

Tests available at this location

  • 12 panel urine drug test

Instant screen for common drug classes, with results in minutes.

  • EtG alcohol test

Shows drinking over recent days, not just right now.

  • Breathalyzer

Alcohol in the body at the moment of the test.

  • Saliva test

Available on request for observed collection and recent use.

Positive screens that will be acted on are sent to partner laboratories for confirmation, and chain of custody documentation is available when needed. Compare them on our test types page.

Coming from elsewhere on the Westside

We serve people from across the Westside, from Venice and Santa Monica to Culver City, Playa Vista and Westchester. Our areas we serve pages cover drive times, routes and transit from each neighborhood, plus when mobile testing makes more sense than the trip.

Before your first visit

Most people start with a phone call. A coordinator will ask what you need to know, who should see results and how often to test, then set up a plan. Read how monitoring works for each step. Our pricing is low cost; what you pay depends on the tests, the frequency, mobile visits and whether lab confirmation or written reports are needed.

Need more than testing?

Monitoring is the first step, not the last. If a result or a hard week tells you more help is needed, Blackburn can connect you to it.

Your monitoring coordinator can make the introduction.
