From Culver City to Venice Blvd

From downtown Culver City, the office is about 3 miles away. Most people drive west on Venice Blvd, or take Washington Blvd or Culver Blvd west and cut north. Outside rush hour, plan on roughly 10 to 15 minutes. From the southern parts of the city near the 405 and the 90, it can be just as quick to come up Sepulveda Blvd or Centinela Ave.

By transit, the Metro E Line’s Culver City station sits right on Venice Blvd. From there, Metro bus line 33 runs west along Venice Blvd to Mar Vista. Check Metro’s trip planner for current times.

A city of its own

Culver City is an independent city with its own city government and police department, inside Los Angeles County. Court matters for Culver City residents generally go through the county’s superior court system. If a court, probation officer or attorney requires testing, we offer court ordered testing with chain of custody documentation when needed. Confirm with your attorney whether a specific vendor or format is required.

Employers and return to work

Culver City is a major place of work for the Westside. If you are an employer with a non DOT testing need, such as a return to work agreement after an employee completes treatment, we can set up scheduled or random testing with a single point of contact and results shared only with the people the employee authorizes in writing. We do not perform DOT regulated testing. Learn more on our services page.

Clinicians and programs nearby

Therapists and treatment programs around Culver City can refer clients to us when they want objective results between sessions. With the client’s written consent, results go to the clinician quickly, so care can be adjusted early. Positive screens that will be acted on are confirmed by partner laboratories. See our page for clinicians.

Testing where you work or live

If the drive does not fit your day, mobile testing at your Culver City home or workplace is available for an additional fee. Outside office hours, testing can be arranged at other Blackburn locations on the Westside.

Tests available to Culver City clients

  • 12 panel urine drug test for common drug classes, with results in minutes.
  • EtG alcohol test for drinking over recent days, and a breathalyzer for alcohol right now.
  • Saliva testing on request, in person.
  • Partner laboratory confirmation for positives, and chain of custody documentation when needed.

Bring a photo ID and a list of your medications to every test. Some prescriptions can show on a screen, and knowing about them up front means results are read correctly and fairly.

Cost and booking

Our testing is low cost. What you pay depends on the tests, how often you test, mobile visits and whether lab confirmation or written reports are needed. Call to set up a plan, or see all areas we serve.

Need more than testing?

Monitoring is the first step, not the last. If a result or a hard week tells you more help is needed, Blackburn can connect you to it.

Your monitoring coordinator can make the introduction.
