The Antelope Valley Courthouse
The Michael D. Antonovich Antelope Valley Courthouse, at 42011 4th Street West in Lancaster, is in the Los Angeles Superior Court’s North District. Check your paperwork for the courthouse on your case. If you have been ordered to test, our court ordered testing provides chain of custody documentation when needed. Ask your attorney whether a testing location closer to home is expected.
Ways to test
- A single test. Book a one-time drug or alcohol test by appointment: urine, breath, EtG, or saliva on request.
- Random program. Unannounced test days, set up through our random drug testing program, for people who want results that carry weight.
- Ongoing monitoring. Regular testing over weeks or months, with one coordinator as your point of contact. Learn about ongoing monitoring.
- Court ordered. Testing for courts, probation and attorneys, with chain of custody paperwork and observed collection when the order calls for it. Read about court ordered testing.
Testing covers common drug classes, including fentanyl, plus alcohol. A positive screen that matters can be sent to partner laboratories for confirmation. Bring a photo ID, and tell us about prescriptions up front.
Mobile testing
We can sometimes send a tester to a home or workplace for an additional fee. Coverage in Lancaster depends on the day and schedule, so mobile testing may be available in your area; call to ask. Other Blackburn locations on the Westside can help outside office hours.
Who we help in Lancaster
Lancaster families with students in the Antelope Valley Union High School District or at Antelope Valley College sometimes come to us when a young adult is spending time on the Westside, or for a one-time test. We also work with professionals who commute into Los Angeles and can test near work.
More support
Lancaster is one of the farthest cities in LA County from our office, and that makes a clear plan after a result even more important. If it shows that someone needs more, you do not have to start over with strangers. See more support beyond testing.
