Drug and alcohol testing near Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills is its own city, with its own city government, police department and public services, surrounded by the City of Los Angeles. People who live or work there usually want to know three things: how private is it, how accurate is it, and can you come to me?

Private by design

Results are shared quickly and only with people the person being tested authorizes in writing. That might be a spouse, a parent, a therapist or an attorney. No one else is told. Mobile testing at your home or office is available for an additional fee, so testing can happen without a trip across town.

Accurate when it counts

Every test starts as a screen. Positives that will be acted on go to partner laboratories for confirmation, which identifies the specific substance and amount. When a court, attorney or professional program needs it, we provide chain of custody documentation that records who handled the sample and when.

Attorneys and legal matters

Attorneys sometimes recommend testing before anything is required, to build a record. Others need testing to satisfy an order. Court matters for Beverly Hills residents go through the county’s courthouses. We offer court ordered and attorney referred testing, and with written authorization results can go directly to the attorney. We will not promise that a court will accept any result; ask whether a specific vendor or format is required.

If you come to our office

The office is about 5 to 7 miles from Beverly Hills. A common route is south on Robertson Blvd to Venice Blvd, then west through Culver City and Palms into Mar Vista. The 10 west to the Centinela Ave exit, then south, is another option. Outside rush hour, plan on roughly 20 to 30 minutes. By transit, the Metro E Line’s Culver City station on Venice Blvd connects to Metro bus line 33 heading west.

Office testing is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, by appointment. Outside office hours, testing can be arranged at other Blackburn locations on the Westside.

Bring a photo ID and a list of your medications to every test. Some prescriptions can show on a screen, and knowing about them up front means results are read correctly and fairly.
