Drug and alcohol testing near La Habra Heights
In short
Blackburn Monitoring serves La Habra Heights residents from our office at 12326 Venice Blvd in Mar Vista, about 32 miles away. We help families and individuals set up low cost testing, from a single test to ongoing monitoring, with a real coordinator.
La Habra Heights is a rural, hilly city in the Puente Hills at the southeastern edge of Los Angeles County, along the Orange County line. It is quiet, spread out and far from the Westside. We do not have an office there, and we will help you decide honestly whether the drive works for you.

Getting to us from La Habra Heights
Most people head down Hacienda Blvd or Harbor Blvd to reach the CA-60 or the I-605, then connect west to the I-10 or the I-105 and I-405. Outside rush hour, plan on roughly 50 to 65 minutes, and much longer at peak times. There is little public transit in the hills, so most clients drive.
La Habra Heights and the courts
La Habra Heights contracts with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Cases from this area are often heard in the Superior Court’s Southeast District, such as at the Whittier Courthouse, but check your paperwork. If testing is part of your case, we provide chain of custody documentation when needed.
Families in La Habra Heights
Many younger students in La Habra Heights attend the Lowell Joint School District, which feeds into the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, and parts of the city are served by Hacienda La Puente Unified. Parents can call us first to talk through how to bring up testing with a teen or young adult.
Testing options
Every plan starts with a phone call and a real person. Here is what La Habra Heights clients can set up:
- One-time testing. A single scheduled test when you need an answer now.
- Random testing program. You are notified when to report, so tests cannot be planned around. See our random drug testing program.
- Ongoing monitoring. A coordinator who knows you, a schedule that can change as things improve, and results shared only with people you authorize in writing. Learn about drug and alcohol monitoring.
- Court ordered testing. Court ordered testing with chain of custody documentation when it is needed.
Tests include a 12 panel urine drug test that covers common substances such as opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines and cannabis, fentanyl testing, an EtG alcohol test, a breathalyzer, and saliva testing on request. Positives that will be acted on are confirmed by partner laboratories. Bring a photo ID to intake. Observed collection is used when a court, program or agreement requires it. Compare everything on our services page.
Mobile testing
Mobile testing at a home or workplace is offered for an additional fee. La Habra Heights is a long way from our Westside office, so mobile testing may be available in your area; call to ask before you plan around it. Outside office hours, testing can also be arranged at other Blackburn locations on the Westside.

More support when you need it
La Habra Heights is rural and spread out, and help after a result should not feel as far away as the next neighbor. Testing is where many people start, not where they finish, and your coordinator can help with the next step when it is time.
