Getting to Mar Vista
From downtown Los Angeles, the office is about 12 miles west. Take I-10 west and come south to Venice Blvd, or drive Venice Blvd itself most of the way. From the San Fernando Valley, take I-405 south over the Sepulveda Pass to the Venice Blvd exit. From San Pedro and the Harbor area, I-110 north to I-405 north works. Allow extra time in traffic from anywhere.
By transit, Metro bus line 33 runs along Venice Blvd from downtown to Mar Vista, and the E Line’s Culver City station connects to it. Check Metro’s trip planner.
Westside neighborhoods near us
We have pages for the neighborhoods closest to the office: Mar Vista, Venice, Palms, West Los Angeles, Westwood, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Playa Vista and Westchester. Outside office hours, testing can be arranged at other Blackburn locations on the Westside.
Courts in the City of Los Angeles
The city is served by many Los Angeles Superior Court courthouses. Downtown, the Stanley Mosk Courthouse at 111 North Hill Street and the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center at 210 West Temple Street handle many cases. The Airport Courthouse on South La Cienega Blvd is part of the West District, and the Valley has courthouses in Van Nuys, Chatsworth and San Fernando. Your paperwork names your courthouse. Our court ordered testing provides chain of custody documentation when needed.
What we offer
- One-time testing for a quick, documented answer: a 12 panel urine test, breathalyzer, EtG, or saliva on request. How one-time testing works.
- Random testing where you are notified the day you need to report. How random programs work.
- Ongoing monitoring with frequency set case by case and results shared quickly with the people you choose. How monitoring works.
- Court ordered testing with chain of custody documentation available. Court ordered testing in Los Angeles.
Every test is by appointment, with a photo ID checked at intake. Fentanyl is included in testing, and partner laboratories confirm positives when a result will be relied on. Browse all test types or our services.
Mobile testing
If the trip does not fit your day, mobile testing at home or work is offered for an additional fee. The City of Los Angeles is large, so mobile testing may be available in your area depending on where you are; call to ask. Outside office hours, testing can be arranged at other Blackburn locations on the Westside.
